Tuesday - June 10th @7:30am - City of Shasta Lake Electric Utility Department - From I-5 on Shasta Dam Blvd. travel 2 miles and take left on Harden Brook Ave, go one mile and make a left on Vallecito Ave. at the City of Shasta Lake Corp Yd sign make a left (before ball field) Once your in the yard look for two story building on left there will be parking spaces available. Proceed through warehouse to the back left corner and open door and go up stairs to the conference room.
Tuesday - June 24th @5:30pm - Lehigh S.W. Cement Co. - 15390 Wonderland Blvd., I-5 to exit Wonderland Blvd., then take left over interstate then a right, plant will be on the left.

City of Shasta Lake:
Council Meetings are 1st and 3rd Tuesday Nights 7pm at the John Beaudet Senior Community Center.
Planning Commission meetings are held the Third Thursday of Every mohnth @7pm at the John Beaudet Senior Ctr.
City of Shasta Lake Recreation Department
Summer Fun Camp 2008 - Summer fun camp will be offered for a 10 week period from June 9th to August 15, 2008 for ages 5-12 years old for a cost of $980.00 per week, per child. This will be held at the Toyon Learning Center with field trips and a visit to the Redding Aquatic Center every week.
Yoga & Tai-Chi Classes - Beginning in September 2008, we will be offering these classes. Classes will be offered in 6 week sessions, and will be held at the John Beaudet Community Center at a cost around $40.00 per six week period. Dates and times to be determined.
Scrapbooking Class - Beginning in September 2008 scrapbooking classes will be offered in 6 week consecutive sessions. Classes will be offered at the John Beaudet Community Center at a cost around $10-$15 dollars per class. Dates and times to be determined.
Ballroom Dancing - Beginning in September 2008, ballroom dacing will be offered in 6 week sessions. Classes will be offered at the John Beaudet Community Center at a cost around $5-$8 dollars per class. Our fabulous instructors, Ron and Faith Lane will be teaching a variety of dance lessons. Some potential class: The Waltz, EC Swing, Tango or WC Swing. Dates and time to be determined.
Arts and Crafts Class- Beginning in September 2008, Arts & Crafts Class will be offered once a week in six week sessions. These classes will be held at the John Beaudet Community Center at a cost around $10-$15 dollars per class. Dates and times to be determined.

Garden Project:
Shasta Lake Garden Project Annual English Tea and Garden Tour is on June 1st - Tickets May be purchased in advance by calling 530-275-3360 after May 1st. Tickets are $20.00 and includes a tour of 4 gardens and a high tea on the lawns of one of the gardens. The tea is served by local students in Victorian servant costumes and includes soft live music.For more information contact RoseMary Walter 275-0879.

SHASTA DAM TOURS
These tours are free of charge however you are asked to arrive
20 minutes early for security purposes. No purses, fanny packs, knives, cell phones, cameras. Only yourself and your keys will be allowed. Tour will be held at the second tower on the dam.
Winter hours: Beginning after Labor Day Weekend
9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm
Summer hours: Beginning June 7th
Daily 9:00 am, 10:15 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, 2:15 pm & 3:30 pm
DIRECTIONS TO THE DAM: Take I-5 to Hwy 151 (Shasta Dam Blvd.) go West until you come to a stop sign (Lake Blvd.) you can either go straight or turn right, it makes a big loop. If you go straight you will have an overlook. There is an information center with pictures of the construction of the dam. There are also picnic areas which are shady and grassy so take a picnic lunch or stop by Shasta Lake's restaurants and order to go.
